The Sunlight IBEX is Now Available for Pre-Order at Continental Leisure!

After making a big impression as a concept vehicle, the IBEX is officially moving into production, bringing a new level of adventure focused campervan. Built on the Volkswagen Crafter platform and designed for those who want to explore beyond the ordinary, the IBEX combines genuine off-road capability with the practicality and comfort expected from a modern campervan.
Production is scheduled to begin in August 2026, and customers can now secure an early position for one of the most talked about new campervans in the Sunlight range.
Built for adventure
The IBEX has been developed specifically for those looking for greater freedom and capability away from traditional touring routes. Equipped with 4-wheel drive, an automatic transmission, and a powerful 163hp engine, it has been engineered to tackle more demanding terrain while remaining comfortable and practical for everyday use.
At just under 6m in length, the IBEX offers an impressive balance of manoeuvrability and interior space. A specially developed roof design provides a generous 1.98m internal standing height, creating a spacious and open living environment.
The IBEX stays true to its adventurous roots, with a range of purpose-built features designed to enhance its off-road performance and distinctive appearance. Available equipment includes:
- 18-inch off-road tyres
- Raised roof structure with partially integrated awning
- Electric off-road step
- Integrated LED awning light
- Roof mounted light bar
- Fender flares
- Two-part flyscreen door
- Frame windows
- Exclusive IBEX graphics
The vehicle will be available in 4 exterior finishes inspired by the environments it was built to explore: Desert Sand, Lava Black, Stormy Grey, and Glacier Blue.
Inside, the IBEX has been designed to maximise both comfort and practicality. A transverse rear double bed benefits from widened bodywork, creating a spacious sleeping area measuring 200cm x 136cm.
Additional highlights include a pull-out refrigerator accessible from both inside and outside the vehicle, a bathroom with foldable washbasin, a sliding partition wall, and Volkswagen’s latest Digital Cockpit Pro and multimedia system.
Demand for the IBEX is expected to be high as Sunlight brings this exciting new model into series production. Pre-orders are now open, giving customers the opportunity to secure one of the first production vehicles available.
